Nick Schvabenitz

Co-Founder, CTO

Hey there! My name is Nick Schvabenitz, and I'm proud to be one of the co-founders at Affordic. I live for building businesses, taking risks, and tackling the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur in today's digital world.

So, what's my story? I've had some pretty cool experiences in professional and military aviation, technology, sales, packing moving boxes, and entrepreneurship. I've worked as a C-130H aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force and also served as an airline captain on the ERJ-170 Jet at a 121 U.S. Air Carrier for many years. I've learned a thing or two about safely and efficiently getting things done, that's for sure.

I believe in helping small businesses like yours, succeed. That's why I helped co-found Affordic – to help small business owners circumnavigate the complex digital world that we live in today.

My Story

My name is Nick Schvabenitz and I have over two decades of experience in the technology industry and nearly two decades in aviation, I have witnessed firsthand the value of hard work, stemming from my family's background in steel-working. Throughout my journey, I have gained a profound understanding of the importance of time and opportunity cost. I take immense pride in being a self-made individual, possessing extensive domain knowledge across numerous fields, too vast to enumerate here. Embracing new challenges is something I thoroughly enjoy.

My aviation career commenced in the United States Air Force, where I served as a C-130 mechanic. Since then, I have held various positions including FAA-Certified Flight and Ground Instructor, Charter Pilot, Airline First Officer, and Airline Captain. I have authored and published a range of flight training materials for FAA Initial Flight Instructor Certification. Additionally, I have resided in multiple countries and many diverse regions within the United States.

Michelle and I have dedicated years to collaborating closely with entrepreneurs and small business owners. Consistently, we have heard from these individuals about their expertise in their respective fields, yet their struggle to establish an online presence. Trustworthiness emerged as a significant concern, along with the exorbitant costs associated with hiring web design agencies.

In late 2022, we resolved to address this predicament by establishing Affordic, a SaaS-based Website as a Service (WaaS) web development company. At Affordic, we offer robust websites through a subscription-based, all-inclusive approach, without any hidden charges. Our clients pay a single flat monthly subscription fee, encompassing comprehensive design services, development, hosting, maintenance, and support. It provides a predictable expense, akin to their phone bill, fostering stability for their businesses.

We founded Affordic with the objective of assisting small businesses in establishing an affordable online presence while providing expert support throughout the entire process. Whenever an opportunity arises, I strive to educate small business owners about the pivotal role websites play as a foundational element for the future success and longevity of their enterprises. Assisting small business owners in achieving their goals brings me immense satisfaction.
